Gold Coast Armory Partners with NSSF as Ammo Distributor for Rimfire Challenge
NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting sports industry, is pleased to announce that Gold Coast Armory has agreed to serve as the administrator and distribution center for all Rimfire Challenge ammunition. Headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, Gold Coast Armory is a leading wholesale distributor of rifle, handgun and shotgun ammunition.
The Rimfire Challenge (originally developed by Ruger and formerly known as the Ruger Rimfire Challenge), focuses on competition with .22-caliber rifles and pistols and was designed to introduce new shooters to the shooting sports. Supporting these matches and new competitors, several companies such as Winchester and ATK have generously committed to sending thousands of rounds in support of the nationwide Rimfire Challenge events. Those ammo allocations will be sent directly to Gold Coast Armory, so that match directors for individual Challenge events have a central, single point of contact from which to order ammunition for their upcoming matches.
“We’re happy to continue working with the NSSF to support the shooting industry. We are very much looking forward to helping new shooters come to our sport through programs like the NSSF Rimfire Challenge,” said Daniel Wolgin, Managing Partner of Gold Coast Armory.
“Adding Gold Coast Armory to the list of companies working to make the Rimfire Challenge program a success was an easy decision,” said Zach Snow, NSSF Manager, Shooting Promotions. “Their commitment to customer service leaves us no doubt that the process of match directors acquiring the ammunition they need for matches, at prices they can rely on, will be efficient and fair for all involved in making these highly popular and swiftly growing matches a continued success.”
