Give the Gift of Safety this Holiday Season
This holiday season, $2 can buy the important gift of firearms safety. Two dollars is all it takes to help put a gun lock in someone’s hands so firearms can be securely stored when not in use to help prevent accidents and unauthorized access.
Safe storage is the #1 way to help prevent firearm accidents in the home. To help every gun owner store their firearms responsibly, Project ChildSafe Foundation provides free gun locks to law enforcement agencies to distribute in their communities. It’s a hugely popular and successful program. We receive requests for thousands of gun locks from law enforcement every week, and since 1999 have distributed 37 million firearms safety kits that include a gun lock through our 15,000 law enforcement partners.
Unfortunately, even with the firearms industry’s continued commitment to Project ChildSafe Foundation, we can fulfill only a fraction of requested locks. With demand far exceeding supply, we ask for your help to provide even more free gun locks to communities across the country.
Julie Golob and the firearms industry ask you to donate to Project ChildSafe Foundation this holiday season to give the gift of firearm safety.
As a veteran, a competitive shooting sports champion, a hunter and a mom, Julie Golob understands the importance of safe firearm storage and gun safety education. That’s why she is lending her voice to Project ChildSafe Foundation and encouraging communities to learn more about gun safety. Check out this video message from Julie:
