Free Videos for Schools

More than 4,000 of NSSF’s Firearm Safety and Conservation DVDs have been ordered by teachers and administrators since the offer was emailed last week. The DVDs each contain grades-specific videos appropriate for viewing by students in elementary school through high school.

The safety videos help students to make good, safe decisions when encountering a firearm in an unsupervised situation. The conservation videos teach students about wildlife conservation, the success stories of reintroducing species such as white-tailed deer and the wild turkey, and how hunting contributes to protecting wildlife and wild lands.

The videos, which over the years have been distributed in more than 100,000 schools, can be used by

  • Teachers
  • Administrators
  • Parents who home-school their children
  • Law enforcement officers who visit schools to discuss gun safety
  • Librarians
  • Community youth organizations interested in firearm safety and wildlife conservation

Go to this NSSF webpage to preview and order the video programs free of charge.
