Free Hunting Days in CA Clears Appropriations Committee
NSSF supported legislation (SB 1179) was passed out of the California Assembly Appropriations Committee (17-0) and will now go to the Assembly Floor for a vote. The bill, sponsored by State Senator Dennis Hollingsworth (R), requires the director of the CA Department of Fish and Game to designate two free hunting days per year. This legislation cleared the California State Senate, by a vote of 28-6, in early June.
