Firearms Industry Assists ATF Investigations Into Gun Store Thefts, Matches ATF Rewards for Information
When Federally Licensed Firearms retailers (FFLs) are burglarized or robbed, the National Shooting Sports Foundation(NSSF) stands ready to assist the field offices of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and their state/local law enforcement partners. NSSF will match on a dollar-for-dollar basis ATF reward offers for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the theft of firearms. If violence is involved, as has occurred in some armed robberies, NSSF may double its reward offer.
