Carey’s Small Arms Range Ventilation is Newest Sponsor of Fall 2016 NSSF Lead Management and OSHA Workshop
NEWTOWN, Conn.—The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®) is pleased to announce that Carey’s Small Arms Range Ventilation has signed on to sponsor the fall 2016 NSSF Lead Management and OSHA Workshop taking place October 16-18 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Headquartered in Tinley Park, Illinois, Carey’s specializes in air distribution and control systems, providing design, installation, re-commissioning, maintenance and remote technical support services. The company’s Range Ventilation design was installed at the U.S. Navy’s Recruit Training Command Great Lakes and is now the standard for all Navy indoor firing ranges.
“With their highly specialized expertise in indoor range ventilation, Carey’s staff brings a comprehensive wealth of knowledge with them to our fall workshop,” said Zach Snow, NSSF Manager, Shooting Promotions. “We are very pleased to have them sign on as our newest sponsor.”
“Carey’s is pleased to support NSSF’s shooting range educational series in Minneapolis this fall. We are committed to assisting shooting range owners with their objective of operating a safe and profitable facility,” said Bill Provencher, co-founder of Carey’s. “We believe relevant educational workshops such as this further enhance that opportunity.”
Designed to enable owners and operators of shooting ranges of all sizes an opportunity to discover the latest in lead management and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) best practices, the two-day workshop will focus on environmental and regulatory requirements for both indoor and outdoor shooting facilities, OSHA enforcement and penalty structure, implementation of health and safety plans, medical surveillance and other issues relevant to compliance.
