Camfil USA is Newest Sponsor of NSSF Lead Management & OSHA Compliance Workshop
NEWTOWN, Conn.— The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®) is pleased to announce that Camfil USA has agreed to be a sponsor of the Lead Management & OSHA Compliance Workshop scheduled for December 13-15 in Orlando, Florida. Camfil USA, the American arm of the Stockholm, Sweden-based Camfil Group, is a global provider of high-quality, sustainable clean air filtration products.
“It is gratifying to have yet another company so invested in the success of today’s firearms ranges join us in sponsoring this important workshop,” said Zach Snow, NSSF Manager, Shooting Promotions. “It’s central to our goals with this event that those attending gain a better understanding of the latest products and services that help their ranges stay compliant, while also keeping their staff and customers safe, and Camfil’s sponsorship certainly contributes to meeting those goals.”
“Camfil is very excited to participate in this workshop,” said Joe Gorman, Comfort Air Product Manager with Camfil USA. “When I attended this workshop in 2013, I noticed many range owners asking a lot of the same questions around filtration: How do I save money? Am I compliant? How come my filters don’t last so long? What are the differences between products? Over the past two years, Camfil has invested a lot of time and development into finding the best solutions for firing range, as well as field studies and research around the particulate generated in ranges. Our focus is protecting the people in the ranges and educating range owners on filtration so they can make smart buying decisions when investing in their air filters and HVAC systems.”
The two-day NSSF Lead Management & OSHA Compliance Workshop, held at the Double Tree by Hilton hotel in Orlando, will include a variety of seminars on tools that help shooting range owners stay OSHA compliant, the creation of health and safety plans, range filtration economics and disposal practices, responses to OSHA enforcements, medical surveillance, OSHA record-keeping and updates on environmental risk, regulations and laws, among others. The workshop is open to private and public range owners and operators, as well as relevant professionals from local, state and federal agencies. Seats are filling quickly, and NSSF encourages anyone interested in attending this important event to register now. For more information and to register, click here.
