Beretta Holding Group Companies
Contribute $100,000 to NSSF’s #GUNVOTE
Voter Education Campaign

NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms industry, is pleased to announce that Benelli USA, Stoeger Industries and Burris Company, three companies under the Beretta Holding Group umbrella of firearms industry companies, have together donated $100,000 toward #GUNVOTE, the association’s critical voter registration and education campaign.

All three brands are some of the most recognizable among American firearms enthusiasts. Benelli’s history stretches back to 1967 and its semi-auto shotguns are favorites among serious hunters, as well as serious 3-Gun and clay games competitors. Burris optics had its beginnings in 1971 and today produces a wide array of task-specific handgun, rifle and shotgun scopes, red dot sights and optic mounting systems. Stoeger is the oldest company in this group of #GUNVOTE contributors, with a history dating back to 1924. It produces a lineup of solidly built shotguns and handguns well-regarded for their durability and affordability.

“We are very pleased to see these three companies come together in support of our #GUNVOTE campaign,” said Lawrence Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President and General Counsel. “Their joint effort should be seen as a hallmark of what this industry can do when its members work together for the common good of preserving our business, our Second Amendment rights and the rich history of firearms we enjoy in this country.”

“The U.S. companies in the Beretta Group strongly support NSSF’s Gunvote initiative,” commented Jeff Reh, General Counsel for Benelli USA and Stoeger and a member of the Board of Directors for Burris. “We know first hand the critical issues at stake in the upcoming election, and we are committed to helping educate the voting public about the risks posed by some candidates to their constitutional and political rights.”

NSSF’s #GUNVOTE is a voter registration and education campaign platform for use by firearms industry manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, ranges and media members, as well as the pro-Second Amendment consumer. #GUNVOTE — www.gunvote.org — provides vital information on the hundreds of pro-gun and anti-gun candidates up for election in 2016, as well links to polling places and voter registration, election news, voter education video resources and more. Industry members are strongly encouraged to download the #GUNVOTE button for their websites and social media use and order #GUNVOTE decals for distribution to family, friends and customers.
