Action Target Renews Partnership as the Official Target Provider of NSSF 2015 Rimfire Challenge Steel Target Grant Program
NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms industry, is pleased to announce that Action Target has agreed to remain the official target provider for the 2015 Rimfire Challenge Steel Target Grant Program. Founded in 1986, Utah-based Action Target is a leading manufacturer of shooting range equipment, including a patented pneumatic turning target system, proprietary bullet trap systems for indoor and outdoor ranges, shooting houses, scoring systems and variety of steel targets and target control setups.
“We are very pleased to have Action Target back on board as the official target provider for the 2015 Rimfire Challenge Steel Grant Program,” said Zach Snow, NSSF Manager, Shooting Promotions. Their generous support towards this effort is critical to the continued growth of the program as a whole. It’s our goal to expose more people to the world of competitive shooting through the NSSF Rimfire Challenge. But first we must engage the shooting range community to become Rimfire Challenge host ranges.”
Through Action Target’s partnership, 20 steel target grants consisting of 12 targets each will be available to ranges that want to start hosting Rimfire Challenge events or that are looking to expand their current Rimfire Challenge program efforts.
“The feedback we have received from 2014 grant program participants has been extremely positive,” said Seth Ercanbrack, Action Target Marketing Manager. “It is crucial for these matches to be conducted on safe and reliable targets to provide a good experience for new and competitive shooters. We are honored to again supply targets for the NSSF Rimfire Challenge Grant Program.”
Additional sponsorship opportunities for NSSF’s 2015 Rimfire Challenge program are still available.
