Animal Rights Groups Setting Sites on Stock


The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and other anti-hunting groups have become major shareholders in many of the nation’s leading meat and poultry processors and restaurant chains (e.g., Jack in the Box, Domino’s Pizza, Tyson Foods). According to PETA, the aim of this project is to gain influence in corporate boardrooms. Could publicly traded firearms and ammunition companies be next?
