Learn to Shoot

Getting the right introduction to the shooting sports is important. Here are a few ways to get started.

  1. Find a "First Shots" class in your area. Many ranges across the country offer free introductory classes to firearm safety and the shooting sports.

  2. Find a safety course in your area. The National Rifle Association offers firearms training courses in every state.

  3. Find a shooting range in your area. A professional shooting facility can provide the information and instruction you need to get started in shooting.

  4. Locate a retailer near you. A good shooting sports retailer can help get you pointed in the right direction to find firearm safety courses and shooting instruction.
