We Need Everyone Monday at Connecticut Lobby Day

Come to Hartford to Protect Your Rights

On Monday, March 11, the National Shooting Sports Foundation, National Rifle Association, Coalition of Connecticut Sportsmen and Connecticut Citizens Defense League, will host a Lobby Day at the State Capitol in Hartford.

The industry and gun owners need to be unified in their opposition to Gov. Malloy's and the Senate Democrats' plan to take away your rifles and magazines.

This will be our opportunity to meet face to face with legislators and tell them not take away our rights. We need every concerned citizen to show up in Hartford on Monday to demonstrate your opposition to these proposals!

Details for the Lobby Day:

You have two options: Either come to the Legislative Office Building on your own or take the complimentary shuttle from Cabela's.
Date: Monday, March 11
Time: 10 a.m.
Where: Legislative Office Building at 300 Capitol Ave. in Hartford
Parking: Free parking will be available at Cabela's, located at 475 East Hartford Boulevard North, East Hartford, CT 06118
Transportation: A complimentary shuttle service will run between Cabela's and the State Capitol between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Goals: To communicate your concerns to legislators through meetings, written correspondence and a show of unity. Please bring written letters that you can leave with your senators and representatives.

This event will be held inside in the Legislative Office Building (LOB), where legislative offices are located. This weekend we will provide directions on how to navigate the LOB and find YOUR legislators. Tables will be set up to provide you with signs, stickers, badges, information, etc., in the LOB atrium. If you do not know who your representative is, there will be volunteers there to help point you in the right direction.

If you are unable to attend the Lobby Day in Hartford, please contact your state Senator and state Representative and urge them to vote against any rights-infringing legislation. Click here to view contact information for your state legislators.
