NSSF RECEIVES INDUSTRY LEADERSHIP AWARD FROM NASGW . . . NSSF
was presented with the "Chairman’s Award for Industry Leadership" at
the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW) Show last
week in Reno, Nev. The award formally recognized NSSF's efforts to promote,
protect and preserve the shooting sports and the organization's importance
to the outdoor industry. Said NSSF Chairman Bob Scott, "I feel fortunate
to serve as the chairman of the NSSF Board of Governors, and on behalf
of the entire board, I would like to both congratulate everyone at NSSF
for this noteworthy achievement and thank each of them for their continuing
efforts on behalf of the industry we serve." NSSF is the first organization
to receive the award. "We thank NASGW for bestowing such a high
honor on NSSF," said NSSF President Steve Sanetti.
