NSSF to Attend Biden Meeting on Firearms

The National Shooting Sports Foundation has accepted an invitation to attend a meeting of Vice President Biden's task force on firearms Thursday, Jan. 10. NSSF President and CEO Steve Sanetti will be representing NSSF at the meeting, which will include sportsman and gun-ownership groups, including the NRA.

As NSSF stated on Dec. 19, after President Obama announced the formation of the Biden commission, ". . . being one of the 'stakeholders' . . . we would welcome the opportunity at the appropriate time to become part of a full national conversation with all policy makers that has its goal the improved protection of our children and our communities from future violence."

The trade association for the firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting sports industry, NSSF has more than 8,000 members which include manufacturers, distributors, federally licensed firearms retailers and range operators. NSSF is a leader in promoting firearms safety education, and in promoting, protecting and preserving hunting and recreational shooting sports.
