NSSF's conservation videos provide elementary through high school-aged students with accurate information on the success of sportsmen-supported conservation and wildlife management programs. These documentary videos are helpful resources for environmental science, biology, or current events schools curriculums.

To prevent criminals from acquiring firearms, this national program educates federally licensed firearms retailers on how to detect and deter "straw man" purchases and raises public awareness about the penalties for engaging in such purchases. Developed in coordination with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF)

This education and outreach initiative for the future of hunting is helping states create hunting opportunities for youth, so that more families may enjoy America's greatest outdoor tradition together. Developed by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, National Wild Turkey Federation and U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance.

What if a child were to encounter a firearm in an unsupervised situation? NSSF addresses this safety concern through educational video programs appropriate for school safety curriculums. A general-audience program is also available that provides a review of safety rules for firearms owners.


First ShotsFirst Shots provides opportunities for newcomers to give handgun shooting a try. Through partnerships with ranges, First Shots participants receive a comprehensive introduction to handgun shooting that includes safety, local ownership requirements, shooting fundamentals, hands-on instruction and how and where to continue.

Hunt and Shoot.org is a portal site that provides access to helpful hunting and shooting resources and links to searchable state-by-state databases. The site is designed to make it convenient for hunters and shooters to find new places to enjoy their sports and stay involved with hunting and shooting.


This site offers one-click access to all 50 state wildlife agency Web sites. Hunters can find details on season dates, application deadlines, license fees, population summaries, harvest data and more. Developed by the National Shooting Sports Foundation.

Facilitating greater recruitment and retention of hunters, HHP provides grants to partnering state wildlife agencies for the purpose of increasing hunting opportunities and participation. Developed by the National Shooting Sports Foundation in partnership with the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation.


NAFR
Today's firearms retailers face an increasing number of challenges --- stringent regulatory compliance, mounting legislative initiatives and tighter profit margins. This association was created by and is governed by retailers to help meet these challenges.
NAFR
Providing leadership in information, communication and partnerships among ranges, industry and the community, this association supplies a library of publications, research and information for the shooting range industry at members-only cost reductions.

This special day, observed the fourth Saturday in September, recognizes hunters and anglers for their contributions to America's conservation movement and raises public awareness and understanding of hunting and fishing.

CSSI was created to raise awareness of shooting sports opportunities at the college level, provide financial and non-financial assistance in developing college shooting clubs or teams, serve as a resource for colleges and students interested in learning more about the shooting sports and help grow the shooting sports at the college level


 

This is the largest and most comprehensive firearms safety education program in the nation. Funded by U.S. Department of Justice grants and the firearms industry, the program provides free safety kits that include a cable-style firearm locking device and key safety messages about safe handling and storage of firearms.

 

The Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show and Conference (SHOT Show) is the largest and most comprehensive trade show for all professionals involved with the shooting sports and hunting industries.

This is an association of the nation's leading manufacturers of sporting firearms, ammunition, and components. SAAMI is actively involved in the publication of more than 700 voluntary standards related to firearm and ammunition quality and safety.

This program encourages outdoor enthusiasts to welcome friends, family and special guests to share hunting and other outdoor experiences such as target shooting, archery and fishing.


 

This site features an on-line directory providing visitors with quick and easy access to target shooting and hunting facilities.

More than 1,000 preserves present bird hunting opportunities across America. NSSF's Wingshooting USA makes it easier for hunters to find them through a convenient online directory of hunting preserves based on " Black's Sporting Directories."
