Hunter Access Vermont is a unique way for sportsmen and landowners to connect and develop a relationship in an effort to help control the state's deer densities, reduce property damage and improve habitat. Once a hunter registers for the program, his or her contact information will be part of a database that landowners will have access to in an attempt to help control deer populations on their property. Landowners will be able to connect with a hunter by email or phone to arrange for access privileges. Landowners must also register, allowing them to gain access to the database. All information collected in the registration process is confidential and used only for the purpose of matching hunters with landowners seeking help in managing deer herd on their lands. However, once a relationship is established, it could lead to other access opportunities for hunters. If you are looking for a place to hunt deer on private land, this is a perfect way to get started.
