Deadlines to Note
As
the SHOT Show nears, so do a number of deadlines
When
preparing for an event as important as the SHOT Show, careful planning includes
a checklist of deadlines. Here are some upcoming dates, one
immediate, of which you should be aware:
Today, Nov. 20: Last day for exhibitors to update their SHOT
Show Directory listing. By clicking here, you will be taken
to the Exhibitor Toolkit. Sign in here to create or update your Web
site and printed directory listing. Your Customer Number is located in the
lower left corner of your invoice. Your password is your company's five-digit
postal code. By entering your information on this Web site, you will not
need to send in a Directory listing form. The information you enter here
will be used in the Directory.

Dec.
1: Deposit payments are due to the Travel Technology Group if paying by cash. Special
SHOT Show hotel rates are subject to change and reservations are subject
to hotel availability. With rates as low as $40 per night, there's
no reason not to book your lodging through the SHOT
Show Travel Desk and take advantage of the complimentary
shuttle buses that stop at the official
SHOT Show hotels on show days.
Dec. 14-Jan. 6: Shipments to warehouse will be accepted
Dec.
23: Deadline for submission of service and order forms to Freeman to take
advantage of advanced discounted rates. For

Jan.
12: Shipments direct to show will be accepted. Check
your target move-in and move-out dates.

More Celebrity Appearances Slated for SHOT Show
Hunters,
authors, singers and TV personalities add to booths' allure
More
and more exhibitors are lining up celebrities to appear in their booths, and
many of those exhibitors are completing the celebrity/event/demo
online form to share the information. NSSF, in turn, is helping to
promote those appearances.
The exhibitors that most recently completed forms have lined up some interesting
personalities, who will be sure to add traffic to their booth.
Command Sergeant Major (ret) Eric Haney to Appear at
Trigger Point Technology, Inc., Booth 6409
Come meet this member of Delta Force Team 1. Haney is the author of “Inside
Delta Force” and serves as technical advisor on the hit TV series, “The
Unit, and in the same capacity for other television and motion picture productions.
He'll be at Trigger Point Technology's booth all four days.
Visit with TV Hosts Roger Raglin and Brenda Valentine
at Vanguard, Booth 3251
Roger Raglin is a record-setting marksman, one of the early producers of hunting
videos and host of a highly rated national television show. Brenda Valentine,
the First Lady of Hunting®, is a champion archer, world-class hunter and
a TV host, too. Vanguard is bringing both of them to their booth. Meet
Raglin on Tuesday, Jan. 19, from 9 a.m. to noon. Valentine will be at
the Vanguard booth on Thursday, Jan. 21, also from 9 a.m. to noon.
Country
Singer Jimmy Fortune Is coming to Sportsmen's
Outdoor Strategies TV, Booth 249
Jimmy Fortune, often called the greatest tenor voice in Country Music, sang
for the Statler Brothers for 21 years. He has performed in all 50 states
and throughout Canada, before audiences as large as 100,000 people. Along
with the Statler Brothers, he was inducted into both the Country and Gospel
halls of fame. He is an avid hunter and member of the Sportsmen's
Outdoor Strategies TV hunt crew, and he will be at the SOS booth at 10 a.m.
on Tuesday, Jan. 19.

Lounge
The
NSSF Members' Lounge will be a welcome dining spot for NSSF members wearing
their member ribbon and their guests during the SHOT Show. From 11:30
a.m. to 2:30 p.m., they will find a selection of lunch foods, including a carving
station, salads, sandwiches, an antipasto and grain bar, and Sands Subway.
Please note that when it comes to payment by credit or debit cards, Visa,
MasterCard and American Express will all be accepted; Discover, however, will
not.
