Less Than Two Weeks Away

Celebrities at the SHOT Show -- Some Planned Appearances

Each year, the SHOT Show has its fair share of celebrity appearances -- Hollywood actors, rock stars, politicians, pro athletes and more. We've heard from some exhibitors about planned appearances this year, but we'd like to hear about more. Let us know if your company is planning to have a celebrity make an appearance at the show. In return, we'll help you promote it.

NBC Sports to Sponsor New Product Center

For many buyers and members of the media who attend the SHOT Show, their first stop is the New Product Center. NSSF is pleased to report that NBC Sports Network has signed on as the official sponsor of the 2012 SHOT Show New Product Center. This is where some of the most innovative products of 2012 will be on display. NBC Sports is a long-established sports brand synonymous with big events and the highest-quality production and outdoor programming, which has been an integral part of this network since 1995, and will continue to live on in its new home, NBC Sports Outdoors.

Ram Named Official Truck of the 2012 SHOT Show

NSSF and the Ram Truck Brand have announced an agreement that makes Ram the official truck of the 2012 SHOT Show. At the show, the new Ram Outdoorsman will be on display in the Sands Expo lobby. The Ram Truck Brand booth, located on Level 2 of the convention center, will also showcase a custom Ram truck. With its sponsorship, the Ram Truck Brand joins Outdoor Channel (a Pinnacle-level sponsor), GunBroker.com, Budweiser, NBC Sports Network and ArmaLite as major supporters of the SHOT Show.

Still Time to Sign Up a Team for Birdies for the Brave

NSSF is hosting a great new pre-SHOT Show charity golf outing Jan. 14 and 15 at the TPC Las Vegas benefiting Birdies for the Brave, a national military outreach initiative founded by PGA Tour pro Phil Mickelson and his wife Amy and proudly supported by the PGA TOUR. It's a great opportunity for our industry to provide even more support for those who have sacrificed so much for our country. Learn more about the event.

Scooter Rentals Available for Attendees

For those who need some assistance in getting around the SHOT Show, rental scooters are available for attendees. Active Mobility will be renting scooters at its booth located on the ground floor of the Sands Expo and Convention Center. The cost is $50 a day.
