NSSF's Commitment to Firearms Safety

NSSF President Steve Sanetti discusses the organization's $1 million commitment to promote responsible firearms handling and secure storage nationwide by providing free firearm safety kits, including a gun lock, to firearms owners through partnerships with law enforcement departments. Firearms accidents now account for less than 1 percent of all fatal accidents in the United States and are at their lowest level since record keeping began in 1903.
