24. Is one required to have a place of business to obtain a FFL?
A Federal Firearm License is designed for a 'location' not an individual. This is not to say someone needs a traditional brick and mortar business and deal with customers face-to-face. Home based- FFLs are allowed and often the choice for hobbyists or collectors that want to trade firearms.
The best place to start is to contact your 'local' ATF office to find out requirements for your particular situation and location. Your local ATF office will be listed in the phone book.
