Jim Wentz of Silvertip Productions has more than 30 years of
experience with hunter, trapper, and angler education programs, with
an emphasis on participation issues. His experience spans work as an
instructor, a training officer, and the hunter education administrator
in Ohio. Over the last ten years Jim has worked on projects with NSSF,
NWTF, USSA, IHEA, and other groups to improve hunter safety and
promote the recruitment of new hunters.
Silvertip Productions serves a broad range of resource agencies and
organizations, including work on invasive species, watersheds, and
climate change. Currently his main focus is working with the League of
Ohio Sportsmen and the National Wildlife Federation to secure new
funding for wildlife agencies to help mitigate the impacts of climate
change on natural resources.
