Ed Warr


Ed Warr

Ed Warr is the assistant chief of the Wildlife Management Division for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. He began working for TWRA in 1977 as a wildlife manager 1 in Region IV. He has also been a wildlife officer assigned to Unicoi and Knox counties. From 1985 to 2003, he was the statewide waterfowl, furbearer, and animal damage program coordinator for TWRA. Ed has served as chairman and secretary treasurer of the Mississippi Flyway Council Technical Section. He was the southeastern representative for the state chapter of The Wildlife Society from 1996 to 2000 and is currently the serving as chapter president. Ed received his B.A. (1974) in zoology and M.S. (1978) in wildlife management from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
