Alan Serven
Alan directs the activities of twelve R&D engineers/chemists and two technicians engaged in the development of novel, new, and improved small-arms-ammunition products for the sporting, law enforcement (LE) and military markets for one of the largest ammunition manufacturers in the world.
As a leading expert in ammunition design, he will address the issues around bullet serialization.
His experience includes overseeing the research and development of new initiating explosives and mixtures for use in primers. He also serves as plant liaison to the National Firearms Examiners Academy (NFEA) and Technical Advisor to the Association of Firearm and Toolmark Examiners (ATE).
Alan is a designated representative to the ammunition industry and related organizations such as the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers' Institute (SAAMI). Plant liaison to outside legal counsel on product liability and regulatory issues.
