Tim Pitzer is the President of Oregon State Shooting Association, elected in 2006, having been Vice President since 1999. In 2003, after several attempts, Tim created the Oregon Association of Shooting Ranges within the OSSA to deal with problems and challenges facing our shooting ranges today. To date, we have twenty ranges in OASR serving over 11,000 members. Tim was the President of Albany Rifle & Pistol Club from 1994 to 1997. Legislative Director of OSSA from 1997 to 1999 when he was elected Vice President.
Tim is a member of the Executive Committee of the National Association of Shooting Ranges, a Life Benefactor Member of the National Rifle Association, a member of the NRA Range Technical Team Advisors (RTTA) and State Coordinator of the NRA Eddie Eagle Program.
