Cyndi Dalena grew up in a shooting and hunting family and has been actively involved in competitive shooting and an avid hunter for years. Cyndi played a leading role in the development of the First Shots program which she currently manages. She was also instrumental in the advancement of STEP OUTSIDE and the Scholastic Clay Target Program. A successful businesswoman, prior to joining NSSF in 2003, Cyndi volunteered with many organizations to promote participation in shooting and hunting on a local level. She currently serves on the NSCA Advisory Council, is an NRA life member and certified instructor, as well as an active IDPA and NSCA competitor in between turkey and deer seasons.
